What is New
Smartr365 Insights v2.0 features support for Protection, as well as many new pre-built report pages and DAX measures to help you generate reports of your own. Please see the SmartrInsights FAQ's โ Smartr365 (zendesk.com) for more details.
Definitions
The language of the reports has been changed to refer to Cases rather than Leads so as to resolve ambiguity between the two separate concepts.
Leads vs Cases: Cases are actual financial products which have entered the Smartr365 sales pipeline and have been assigned to mortgage or protection adviser, whereas Leads refers to new potential business being introduced into the Smartr365 system via the Leads Pool, and which has not yet been converted into business. Currently only cases can be reported on in Smartr365 Insights.
New Cases or New Business refers to either Mortgage or Protection products which entered the Smartr365 sales pipeline within the period being reported upon.
Submitted Cases are products which exist in the Smartr365 Sales pipeline, and which have, within the period being reported upon, reached either Pre-Offer-Processing (Mortgage Cases) or Submitted-To-Underwriters (Protection Cases).
A Completed Case is either a Mortgage or Protection Case which has reached the Completed status in Smartr365 during the period being reported upon.
Fees can be either Paid or Unpaid. If they are Paid, then their respective payment date falls within the period being reported upon. If they are Unpaid, then they have not been marked as paid at any date in Smartr365.
What has changed
Clients Table
All columns in the clients table have been hidden due to the difficulties they were causing users. Client information is now though the following measures:
[Client 1 Anticipated Retirement Age]
[Client 1 Date of Birth]
[Client 1 Email Address]
[Client 1 Name]
[Client 2 Anticipated Retirement Age]
[Client 2 Date of Birth]
[Client 2 Email Address]
[Client 2 Name]
[Client Email Addresses]
[Client Names]
[Number of Clients]
Mortgage Cases Table
With the addition of Protection Cases into the Smartr365 Insights platform it has been necessary to make certain changes to either the table structure or DAX measures to avoid ambiguity and make it more difficult to do the wrong thing.
[Client Names] column has been removed. Please use one of the above DAX measures to access client information.
[CaseId] column has been removed. The CaseId can now be found in the new Cases table and can be used for both Mortgages and for Protection.

New DAX Measure Folder Structure
Many new measures have been added to Smartr365 Insights to facilitate both separate and aggregate reporting on Mortgage and Protection business. In the case of mortgages most of the measures remain unchanged but have in some cases been renamed as described above. The new Protection measures mirror the Mortgage measures but operate only on Protection Cases. A completely new section called 'All Types' has been added to allow reporting of both Mortgage and Protection cases in the same report.
