What product and sale types are available in Smartr365?

Smartr365 supports Mortgage, Protection, and General Insurance as core sale types. Wills and Power of Attorney are not currently a distinct product type — this article explains the available options and workarounds.

Smartr365 is designed around the core product types used by mortgage and protection advisers. This article explains which sale types the platform currently supports and what to do if your product is not listed.

Available product and sale types

Smartr365 currently supports the following case types:

  • Mortgage — including purchase, remortgage, product transfer, and further advance

  • Protection — including life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, and other protection products

  • General Insurance — home insurance and related products via Paymentshield, Uinsure, or manual recording

Wills and Power of Attorney

Wills and Power of Attorney (POA) are not currently a separate product type in Smartr365. There is no dedicated category for these products on the platform at this time.

If your firm offers Wills and POA services and you need to record these sales for reporting purposes, the recommended interim workaround is to record them under the Protection category. This allows you to track sales volume and figures within the existing case management and reporting features.

If you need a dedicated Wills and POA product type added to the platform, please raise this with your Customer Success Manager as a feature request. The product team reviews feature requests for inclusion in future roadmap planning.

Requesting a new product type

If you regularly advise on products that are not covered by the existing case types, contact your Customer Success Manager to discuss your requirements. Feature requests from multiple firms with a common need are considered for future development.
