What is this notification?
The message "A new version is available. Please refresh your browser" appears in the Sourcing module when a platform update has been released since your current session started. Your browser is running an older cached version of Sourcing and needs to load the latest one.
This is an informational notification — it does not indicate an error with your account or data.
How to resolve it
Perform a hard refresh of the page to force your browser to load the latest version of Sourcing:
Windows (Chrome/Edge/Firefox): Press Ctrl + Shift + R
Mac (Chrome/Firefox): Press Cmd + Shift + R
Mac (Safari): Hold Shift and click the Reload button
Alternatively: Press F5 on Windows, or use the browser's reload button while holding Shift
After the hard refresh, Sourcing will reload with the latest version and the notification will disappear.
If the notification keeps reappearing
If the notification returns frequently during the same session, try clearing your browser's cached data:
Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+Delete (Mac).
Select "Cached images and files" and clear the data.
Reload Smartr365 and navigate back to Sourcing.
If the issue persists, contact Smartr365 support.
