This guide explains the fields included in the Expenditure & Credit Commitments section of the fact find.

Expenditure
To add a record, click the ‘+ Add Expenditure’ button under the ‘Expenditure’ heading.
To edit an existing record, click the pencil icon to the right of the expenditure.
To delete an existing record, click the bin icon to the right of the expenditure.
Selecting ‘+ Add Expenditure’ will open a form for you to record different types of expenditure for either or both applicants. Expenditure types include:
Clients (Select one or both clients)
Mortgage Or Rent
Household Maintenance
Transport
Food Drink Clothing
Utilities
Annual Council Tax
Misc Goods And Services
Student Loan
Entertainment
Holidays
Education Fees
Other Expenses
Life Insurance Premium
Other Discretionary
Child Maintenance
Maintenance For Spouse
Total Monthly Expenditure (Calculated automatically)
Changes Next Five Years (Select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’)
Additional Information
This is a free text box for you to record any additional information in relation to the client(s) expenditure.
Once required fields are complete, click ‘Save’ to add the record.
Credit Commitments
To add a record, click the ‘+ Add Credit Commitment’ button under the ‘Credit Commitments. heading.
To edit an existing record, click the pencil icon to the right of the credit commitment.
To delete an existing record, click the bin icon to the right of the credit commitment.
Once required fields are complete, click ‘Save’ to add the record.
Fields included in this section:
Clients (Select one or both clients)
Loan Type (Buy Now Pay Later / Charge Card / Child Care / Credit Card / HP Car Finance / Interest Free Loan / Mail Order / Other / Overdraft / Personal Loan / Secured Loan / Student Loan)
Selecting ‘Other’ will open a free text box to record the Other Loan Type.
Credit Limit
Lender
Where the Lender is not available in the drop-down list, select ‘+ Add Lender’ to add a new Lender to your Lenders & Providers list. Type the Lender Name* into the ‘Add Lender’ pop up, then select the products offered by the Lender. This will determine which sections of the platform the Lender will be made visible. Once required fields are complete, click ‘Save’ to add the record.

Monthly Payment
Secured (Select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’)
Months in Arrears (if applicable)
Date to be Repaid (DD/MM/YYYY)
Selecting the little calendar icon will allow you to select the date the amount is due to be repaid from a calendar pop up.
Intend to repay on or before completion of new mortgage? (Select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’)
Selecting ‘Yes’ will allow you to record the Repayment Source (Bonus / Equity / Family / Other / Regular Income / Sale Of Asset / Savings / This Mortgage)
Selecting ‘Other’ will open a free text box to record the Other Repayment Source type.
