How to add a multi policy protection case?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

You can add a multi-policy protection case in Smartr365 by sourcing multiple products through Solution Builder. When you select more than one insurance product from different insurers, Smartr365 will automatically create a separate case for each insurer.

How to add a multi-policy protection case

  1. Open the relevant case and navigate to the Top Toolbar, then select Sourcing > Solution Builder.

  2. Click Launch Solution Builder and run your quote search as normal.

  3. Select the multiple products you want to proceed with (these can be from different insurers).

  4. When you add the selected products to the case, Smartr365 will create a separate protection case for each insurer.

What this means in practice

  • Each insurer's products will be grouped into their own case, so you will see multiple protection cases on the client's record.

  • Benefit details need to be recorded separately for each case/insurer.

  • Each case follows its own workflow and can be progressed independently.

  • Documents, notes, and tasks are tracked per case.

Why separate cases?

Protection policies from different insurers have different application processes, underwriting requirements, and policy documentation. Splitting them into separate cases ensures each policy is tracked and managed correctly through to completion.
