Before you can use the Solution Builder integration, make sure you have linked your iPipeline account with your Smartr365 account via your ‘My Credentials’ page under your ‘Settings’. If you need any help, you can find more information here.
To get started, create your new Protection case within Smartr from the ‘Protection Policies’ section.
Ensure you have completed the ‘Protection Fact Find’ section for your Client(s) as this will be used when creating the Client(s) for you on Solution Builder.
When you are ready to go, head over to the ‘Solution Builder’ tab from the top of your screen.
From here, you can choose to ‘Launch Solution Builder’ which will open Solution Builder for you automatically in a new tab on your browser.
If you receive a "you are not logged in error" from Solution Builder at this stage then it's likely you do not have your webID saved correctly from the 'My Credentials' section.
This will take you straight into the Benefit Basket screen when you can add your chosen benefits to your basket and click to QUOTE NOW which will present to you all available insurers and plan options.
When you have found your chosen solution and insurers, click the flag button on the bottom right corner, then click the folder icon on the right-hand side, then ‘Save for later’. This will save this solution and will now be available back for you to view in Smartr365.
Complete this process as many times as you like if you are bringing back multiple solutions for comparison.
Back on Smartr365, click the 'View Quotes' button which will refresh your quotes list and bring in the solutions that you ‘Saved for later’. Click ‘View Details’ to open the solution to view the details of the policy.
From here, you can choose to ‘Direct Apply’ which will take you straight to the Insurers website where you can apply for this solution. You will also be able to ‘Add to Case’. This feature will automatically populate your Protection case with the policy and benefit details that are provided by Solution Builder to save you having to rekey the data yourself. You can also select to add the ‘Document Pack’ which will automatically retrieve all documents available on this policy (like the comparison, key features and more) and add them to the Document Store for this case.
