Getting Setup

When using Legal & General Ignite for the first time you will be provided with a whole of market solution and will be able to source across all available lenders, lending types and mortgage clubs. If your firm requires panel restrictions to be put in place, please send the details to LGMStechsupport@landg.com and they will contact you to help get your panel set up.

Legal & General Ignite is free to use within Smartr365, does not require you to setup an account or link anything via ‘My Credentials’. Smartr365 will automatically authenticate you using the email addresses you are using to login to Smartr365 and your firms FCA number.

Sourcing

Within each Mortgage case visit the Sourcing tab and select Legal & General Ignite. This is your Ignite hub for this case where you can start your new Sourcing session, view your history of sourced products on this case and choose if would like to automatically write products and available documents into each Mortgage case.

Click on ‘Source new’ to get started and Legal & General Ignite will open in a new browser window for you.

Once on Ignite, you will be presented with the option to link this sourcing session to your case in Smartr365. When you accept, this will populate Ignite with the details from the Clients Fact Find and Mortgage case and also record all products that you have saved so they are available back when you return to Smartr365.

Once you have found your product that you would like to have available in Smartr365, click the ‘Docs’ button from the right-hand side of the Results.

Complete any additional required fields in this pop-up window then click to ‘Generate Documents’.

After this has been completed, this product will now appear as a saved product in Smartr365. You can choose at this stage if you would like to download the ESIS and Evidence of Research to your computer. This is optional as you can also download these from within Smartr365.

You can repeat this step with as many different products as you would like. They will all be returned to Smartr365 as long as you complete the ‘Generate Documents’ step.

Back on Smarr365, you will now see cards for each product that you saved. Click on ‘View details’ to open this product. Here you will find an ‘Add to Case’ button which gives you the options to:

  • ‘Import product’ – This will write all Product details to your Mortgage case to save you needing to type these in manually.

  • ‘Download documents’ – Here you can choose which of the documents you would like to add to the Document Store of this case.
