How to delete a task

Tasks in Smartr365 are removed rather than permanently deleted, so you always have a record of what was actioned on a case.

Removing a task from within a case

  1. Open the relevant case and navigate to Notes & Tasks from the left-hand navigation bar.

  2. Switch to the Tasks tab.

  3. Find the task you want to remove and click the three-dot menu on the task card.

  4. Select Remove from the menu.

The task will be marked as "Removed" with a timestamp. You can undo this action if needed.

Removing a task from the main Tasks page

  1. Go to the Tasks page from the main left-hand navigation bar.

  2. Click the delete icon (an X) next to the task you want to remove.

  3. You can also use the Select button to enter multi-select mode and reassign tasks in bulk.

Viewing removed tasks

To see previously removed tasks, tick the Show removed checkbox in the filters at the top of the Tasks page. Similarly, you can tick Show completed to view tasks that have already been marked as done.
