File Formatting Error

File formatting errors occur when there are commas in your data import file, or when the columns don’t match our import template. You can use the Find tool in Excel (Ctrl+F) to locate and remove commas. You can also download a blank template from your platform to check your columns match our file structure.

Missing or Invalid Data

Missing or invalid data will be flagged in red text after uploading your file. You will need to correct the fields before you can import the data.

Certain fields will pop up a list of accepted data for you to choose from, or a calendar to select dates.

Once all missing or invalid data is corrected, all your uploaded data will be shown on screen, and the ‘Import Data’ button will be visible in the bottom right-hand corner.

For more information on how to format your data, see our Data Import Help Guide.

Failed Records

Once the data import is completed, you can click ‘View Details’ to check that your records have imported successfully.

Any failed records will be flagged under the ‘Status’ column, and additional details will be given to help you fix the error before importing the data again. Only the records flagged as ‘Failed’ will need to be imported again.
