This fortnight's release bring some upgrades, improvements, and fixes.

We have been looking at how we can make some seemingly minor improvements that make your work that bit easier.

The first thing we have done is to enable additional file types when uploading documents. You can now add emails (.msg and .eml) to the document store.

We have also changed this in the client portal so your customers can upload the new document types.

  • Currently, when you have tasks created for Remortgage cases, the default behaviour is to assume the type is residential. We have changed this so that the task type is based on the case type (ie - BTL case will create a BTL task. This will save you having to reassign those tasks

  • We released our new notifications service recently. The plan was to get a slightly improved version from the old one and then build on this iteratively. You can now mark all notifications as 'read' rather than doing this individually.

  • If you are a System Administrator, you can now see 'Default Client Portal Sections'. This enables you to set default Fact Find sections that clients see when you invite them. Advisers can still change this on a case by case basis.

Smoove

We are working to make the Smoove integration as smooth and seamless as possible. Below are some improvements (with more to come)

  • We have updated the 'Considerations List' to make it more logically ordered. We have also added 'Limited Company BTL'

  • We have added the 'Conveyancing' tile at the top of the case summary page at early status' so that you can get easily quotes earlier in the process

  • On a similar note, when you move a case to 'Decision in Principle' status, you will get a pop up to prompt a conveyancing quote

Bug Fixes

  • We noticed that the save button was not activating when making edits to a task. This now works as expected.

  • In certain situations, task due dates were showing as 'null'. We have updated this to make it clearer that no due date is assigned to the task.

  • We have resolved an issue where the existing properties for a joint client was not showing.

  • The 'Mark all Read' on notifications was only clearing them from view when you refresh the page; this now happens in real time.

  • For those that use the new PaymentShield integration, we found that an error modal persisted from previous validation errors. This now disappears when the validations are resolved.

  • We also saw that the navigation was closing when you add the PaymentShield quote to the case; the navigation now remains open.

  • When completing a purchase from Uinsure, the documents and details will automatically add to the case.

We have many more great features on the way but keep them hidden until they are ready. We will keep you updated via our fortnightly release note.
