How to Create and Manage Suitability Report Templates in Smartr365

Overview

Suitability Report Templates lets you create custom report templates that your advisers can use when generating suitability reports for clients. Templates support dynamic tokens that automatically populate with case and client data.

Getting Started

Where to find it: Go to Settings > Suitability Report Templates

Who can access it: System Administrators and Managers

Step-by-Step Guide

Creating a New Template

  1. Click Create New Template

  2. Give your template a name by clicking the name field at the top

  3. Use the rich text editor to write your template content

  4. Insert dynamic tokens from the token panel

  5. Optionally add editable text areas, optional content sections, date pickers, or comment fields

  6. Set your preferred font family and page margins

  7. Click Save

Publishing and Unpublishing Templates

  1. From the template list, use the publish/unpublish toggle next to each template

  2. Only published templates are available for advisers to use in suitability reports

Previewing a Template

  1. Open a template for editing

  2. Click the Preview button to see how the report will look

Deleting a Template

  1. From the template list, click the delete option on the template

  2. Confirm the deletion

Tips & Best Practices

  • Use tokens to automatically pull in client names, addresses, product details, and other case data

  • Create unpublished drafts to work on templates before making them available to advisers

  • Use optional content blocks for sections that may not apply to every case

  • Set a consistent font and margin across all your templates for a professional look
