How to resolve the 'Could not send M&P data to ConcertHub' error when submitting a protection case via SmartrConnect.
Overview
When submitting a protection case to ConcertHub, you may see the error: "Could not send M&P data to ConcertHub. Please try again later and if the problem persists, please contact support."
In most cases, this error is caused by missing required fields on a protection policy — not a system outage. A mortgage case on the same matter may submit successfully while the protection case fails, which confirms the issue is with the protection policy data.
What to Check First
Open the case and navigate to Protection > Protection Policies.
Check that every policy listed has a Benefit Amount entered (must not be blank).
Check that every policy listed has a Premium Amount entered (must not be blank).
Ensure all applicant details are complete — names, dates of birth, and addresses must all be populated.
Save your changes and retry the ConcertHub submission.
If the Error Persists After Completing All Fields
Note the case ID and the exact error message with its timestamp.
Contact Smartr365 Support with those details — the team will investigate whether a system-level issue is affecting your submission.
Do not repeatedly retry the submission without resolving the underlying data issue, as this may generate duplicate records.
