This article explains how to use the Smartr365 Reporting module to build a remortgage contact date report and a remortgage opportunity report for existing clients.
Overview
The Reporting module lets you build custom charts and tables from case data. Two common remortgage reports are:
Remortgage contact date report — lists cases grouped by their remortgage contact date within a date range you set.
Remortgage opportunity report — surfaces existing clients approaching a remortgage date, supporting proactive outreach.
How to Create a Remortgage Contact Date Report
Go to Reporting → All reports.
Click + Create chart. A chart builder panel opens on the right side of the screen.
On the Custom tab, find the Visualisation dropdown and select Table.
In the Measure dropdown (directly below Visualisation), select Unique cases.
In the Group by field (below Measure), select the remortgage contact date field.
Add date range filters:
Remortgage contact after — your start date
Remortgage contact before — your end date
Optionally, add a Product type = Mortgage filter to limit results to mortgage cases only.
Save the chart and give it a name.
The resulting table lists your mortgage cases grouped by remortgage contact date within the date range you selected.
How to Generate a Remortgage Opportunity Report
Go to Reporting → All reports.
Click + Create chart.
Set Visualisation to Table.
Set Measure to Unique cases.
In Group by, select client name or adviser as appropriate.
Add a Product type = Mortgage filter.
Add a Remortgage contact before filter set to a future date (e.g. 6 months from today) to surface upcoming remortgage opportunities.
Save and name the report.
Common Issues
Cannot find the Measure dropdown: After setting Visualisation to Table, the Measure field appears directly below it in the chart builder panel on the right-hand side. If you do not see it, scroll down within the panel.
Cannot find Group by: The Group by field appears below Measure in the same panel.
No data returned: Check that your date filters are not too narrow and that mortgage cases in the system have a remortgage contact date recorded. Cases without a remortgage contact date will not appear.
Report shows all case types, not just mortgages: Add a Product type = Mortgage filter.
