How to use the year and month filters in the Remortgage Opportunities Report, including how to view cases with remortgage contact dates set in future years.
Overview
The Remortgage Opportunities Report lists cases where the remortgage contact date falls within a selected period. By default the report may show the current month and year, but you can filter it to view past or future periods — including cases whose contact dates are set one or more years ahead.
Using the Year and Month Filters
Open Reporting from the main navigation menu.
Find and open the Remortgage Opportunities report (also accessible from the classic Remortgage report if you use the legacy reports area).
Locate the Year and Month filter controls — these appear as dropdowns at the top of the report.
To view future months: select the desired Year first (e.g. 2027), then select the Month. The report will update to show cases whose remortgage contact date falls in that period.
To view a range, run the report for each year/month combination you need, or export to CSV and consolidate.
Tips
Always change the Year before the Month — selecting a future month without updating the year first will show results for the current year in that month.
To export the filtered results, use the Export button to download as CSV or Excel.
If no results appear for a future period, there may be no cases with a remortgage contact date set in that month, or the contact dates for those cases may not have been set yet.
Common Questions
Why can't I see future years in the Year dropdown? The dropdown should include future years. If not, try refreshing the report or contact support — the filter range may need to be extended.
How is the remortgage contact date set? It is calculated automatically based on the mortgage product end date and the remortgage contact date setting in firm Settings, or it can be set manually on the case.
