What are suitability report tokens?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Suitability report tokens are dynamic placeholders in your suitability report templates that automatically pull data from the client fact find and case details. They ensure your reports contain accurate, up-to-date client information without manual retyping.

How tokens work

When you open a suitability report, tokens are populated with the latest data from the case. For example, a token might display the client's name, property value, or loan amount. Because this data can change, the system requires you to manually confirm each token before the report can be finalised.

Confirming tokens

  • Click a token to confirm it. Confirmed tokens turn blue.

  • Click again to un-confirm if you need to re-check.

  • Use the Accept All button at the bottom of the page to confirm all tokens at once.

  • The report header shows how many fields remaining need confirmation. You can use the navigation arrows to jump between unconfirmed tokens.

When tokens change

If you or your client updates information in the fact find after tokens have been accepted, the system will display a "Something has changed!" alert. Affected tokens will need to be re-validated to ensure the report reflects the latest data.

Finalising the report

All tokens must be confirmed (0 fields remaining) before you can preview or finalise the suitability report.
