Smartr365 updates SmartrConnect and releases new Case Transfer screen [06/08/2021]

Updates to SmartrConnect

  • Smartr365 has updated the description on the Halifax submission page to include the operating hours of the Lender Portal. Halifax submissions can be sent through Smartr365 from 6am to 10pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 6pm on Saturdays.

  • For the Barclays integration, we have implemented additional validations:

    • Barclays requires either a flat number, building name or building number for every address in order to create the application on the Barclays Portal – we have added a validation which will check this on within Smartr365 and let you know if you need to go back and amend the address. The building number is taken as the first number in the street address.

    • No special characters can be sent in the job title or employer name for an applicant, and these fields must not exceed a certain number of characters. We have added this into the validation within Smartr365, and the Portal will alert you should you need to update the job title or employer name if it does not meet these requirements.

New screen to accept case transfers

  • Smartr365 has updated the screen which is used to accept or reject case transfers and protection referrals.

  • To access this, go to Settings, then Case Transfers.

  • From the drop down at the top of the page, you can review the pending case transfers to have sent to another advisor and cancel them if required.

  • You can also review the case transfers which have been sent to you and choose to either accept or reject the cases. Once accepted, they will appear on your Cases and Kanban screens.

Data import updates

  • When the status is ‘completed’ and the repayment method is ‘part and part’, then an ‘interest only’ amount becomes a required field. The UI was not showing this as mandatory (in red) on the screen. We have updated this, so that if this field is required, it will highlight in red with a message to explain ‘interest only’ is mandatory.

  • It was possible to import an empty case, which was causing errors in the background. We have removed the ability to import a blank or empty case, and the import case button will be disabled.
