How do I transfer a case?

The following guide provides instructions on how to transfer mortgage and protection cases.

Transfer a Mortgage Case

To transfer a mortgage case, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Cases Page.

  2. Search for the name of the client or use the Adviser, Introducer, or Lender filters to narrow down the list.

  3. Once you have found the case you wish to transfer, click on the three dots to show additional functions.

  4. Select the Transfer option, which is represented by a tray icon.

  5. Choose the adviser you want to transfer the case to.

  6. The adviser who has been transferred the case will then need to Accept. They can do this by going to Settings, then Case Transfers.

  7. The Lead Transfer List will open, where they can Accept or Reject the case transfer.

  8. From this screen, you can also cancel a transfer by clicking Cancel Request.

Transfer a Protection Case

Protection cases can be transferred by using the refer option.

You can transfer (refer) a protection case to your protection advisor by following the steps below.

NOTE - System Admin users can transfer on behalf of anyone.

  1. Click the menu button beside the protection case.

  2. Select Refer which is represented by an icon that looks like an arrow

  3. Once the case is referred, the advisor who has been sent the case needs to accept it. That advisor needs to go to Settings Case Transfers to accept the case.

  4. Select accept

The case will now be referred to the protection advisor and will show in their name!

By following these steps, you can easily transfer a lead to another adviser in your system.
