Relax Liability Validations
When you add Liabilities into SmartR/KYC, currently we ask for the Interest Rate of EVERY Liability – even though this information is not required unless the Liability is being Consolidated.
Following the deployment on 16th July, you will only see the below Validation messages when the Interest Rate is missing from a Liability AND that Liability has been selected for Consolidation.
Document Uploads
There will be a new upload section in the submission area of M&P and Protection only cases for SmartR users, to upload a ZIP containing all the case documents.
The validation for all the documents through out the case will not run for SmartR users.
Note SR will still be generated and uploaded in the SR upload field as this is a core part of the journey.
Each ZIP Upload is capped at 30gb which should cater for the overwhelming majority of uploads
Should your zip file exceed this limit, simply split into a further zip upload.
Protection Needs on M&P case
When validating the Needs, on the Needs Validation page of a Mortgage and Protection engagement, the Reason Not Address will no longer need to be populated – instead this will already be populated for you, given Protection needs cannot be addressed on a Mortgage and Protection case sent from SmartR

We are defaulting several items to the most commonly used values.
