Case Import
We have launched an entirely new AI powered Case Import experience that transforms how you bring data into Smartr.
Our AI mapping engine learns from previous imports, predicting the right field matches and automatically adapting to common variations in source data. This means faster, more accurate imports with far less manual setup.
You can now:
Upload your data with automatic AI mapping and AI data transformation to format and resolve errors.
Review, validate, and confirm records before import
Coming Soon. Doc Drop Box
We have been working on a brand new Doc Drop Box to make document handling faster and more intuitive.
Brokers and admin staff will soon be able to upload one or multiple documents to Smartr.
The new experience allows you to:
Drag and drop any number of files directly into Smartr
Automatically match with AI powrered technology, smart match files to the correct cases.
See a simple confirmation view with essential file and case details

Bug Fixes
Solution Builder – Current Employment Not Populating
We have fixed an issue where the current employment field was not populating in the Protection Fact Find for Openwork member firms with Solution Builder credentials.
Cases created under Openwork businesses now correctly pull through current employment values when marked as primary.
Referred Protection Case – Unable to Re-Refer
We have resolved a bug that prevented advisers from referring a Protection case back to the original adviser after accepting it.
Once a Protection case has been referred and accepted, it can now be re-referred successfully between advisers.
Adviser Portal Notes – Missing Email Template Name
We have fixed an issue where emailed notes displayed “Email template (undefined)” instead of the actual template name.
The generated note now correctly shows the email template used (for example, “Email template ‘Your case note’ has been sent to the client”).
Email Sender Displaying as Null
We have addressed a defect where emails sent to brokers or clients showed “Null” as the sender.
Emails now correctly display the broker’s full name (First Name Last Name) as the sender.
