How to Use the HomeBuyer Hub in Smartr365
Overview
The HomeBuyer Hub helps you create branded marketing materials to promote the HomeBuyer mobile app to your clients. You can generate unique QR codes, deep links, and downloadable PDF marketing assets that connect clients directly to your brokerage through the HomeBuyer app.
Getting Started
Where to find it: Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of Smartr365 and select HomeBuyer Hub from the menu. The Hub opens in a new window.
Who can access it: The HomeBuyer Hub is available to all adviser and introducer users when the HomeBuyer Hub feature is enabled for your brokerage. Client users do not see this option.
What You Can Do
Download Booklets — Learn about HomeBuyer's benefits with dedicated booklets for Consumers, Introducers, and Mortgage Brokers.
Generate Marketing Assets — Create branded QR codes, unique deep links, and PDF marketing materials customised for your business or a specific introducer.
Share on Social Media — Share your unique link directly to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or Email.
Step-by-Step: Generating Marketing Assets
Open the HomeBuyer Hub and click Generate Assets.
Choose who the assets are for:
It's for our Business — Creates assets branded with your business name and logo.
It's for my Introducer — Lets you select an introducer from your network and optionally upload their logo.
If you chose "It's for my Introducer":
Select the introducer and branch from the dropdown list.
Click Next.
Optionally upload the introducer's logo (SVG format, at least 550px wide, under 2MB). You can also click Skip this Step to use your business logo instead.
On the Download Assets page, you will see:
Your unique link — Click Copy Link to copy it to your clipboard, or share it via the social media buttons.
Your QR Code — Click Download Your QR Code to save it as a PNG image.
Marketing templates — Browse the available PDF templates and click Download on any template you wish to use.
Click I'm done in the top navigation bar when finished.
Step-by-Step: Downloading Booklets
Open the HomeBuyer Hub and click Download Booklet.
Choose which booklet to download:
Consumer — For sharing with your clients
Introducer — For sharing with introducer partners
Mortgage Broker — For your internal team
The booklet opens in a new browser tab as a PDF.
Tips and Best Practices
Make sure your business logo is uploaded in your system settings before generating assets. If no logo is found, you will see an error and be redirected back.
Introducer logos must be in SVG format with a minimum width of 550 pixels and a maximum file size of 2MB.
Your unique link and QR code are generated using Branch.io — they work across both iOS and Android devices.
Use the Change link on the download page to go back and select a different introducer without starting over completely.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why do I not see the HomeBuyer Hub option in the menu?
A: The HomeBuyer Hub feature needs to be enabled for your brokerage. Contact your system administrator or our support team to check whether it is switched on.
Q: I get an error saying "Business logo not found" — what should I do?
A: Your business needs a logo uploaded in the system settings before you can generate marketing assets. Ask your administrator to upload a logo, then try again.
Q: What format does the introducer logo need to be in?
A: The logo must be an SVG file, at least 550 pixels wide, and no larger than 2MB.
Q: I get "Failed to generate and download the template" — what does this mean?
A: This usually indicates a problem with the PDF generation service. Check that your business logo is not too large (ideally under 100KB). If the issue persists, contact our support team.
