How to Use the HomeBuyer Hub in Smartr365
Overview
HomeBuyer is the client-facing app powered by Smartr365: HomeBuyer is the brand your clients see, while Smartr365 works in the background.
The HomeBuyer Hub helps you create branded marketing materials to promote the HomeBuyer app to your clients. You can generate unique QR codes, deep links and downloadable PDF marketing assets that connect clients directly to your brokerage through the HomeBuyer app.
Getting Started
Where to find it: Click HomeBuyer Hub in the header at the top-right of Smartr365, next to Logout and Customer Support. In the Introducer Portal, click HomeBuyer Hub in the portal header. The Hub opens in a new browser tab.
Who can access it: The HomeBuyer Hub button is shown to every Smartr365 user except client users, and it is always in the Introducer Portal header.
What You Can Do
Download Booklets — Learn about HomeBuyer's benefits with dedicated booklets for Consumers, Introducers and Mortgage Brokers.
Generate Marketing Assets — Create branded QR codes, unique deep links and PDF marketing materials customised for your business or a specific introducer.
Share on Social Media — Share your unique link directly to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, WhatsApp or Email.
Ways to Use Your Link and QR Code
Your unique link takes people to the HomeBuyer app. Share it with clients by text message or other channels, and encourage them to forward it to anyone they know who is buying a home.
Your QR code is designed for lead generation and works best in print. Add it to brochures and direct mail campaigns.
Introducers can add the link and QR code to property listings on their website, so buyers can connect with a broker while they are looking for a home.
Step-by-Step: Generating Marketing Assets
Open the HomeBuyer Hub and click Generate Assets.
Choose who the assets are for:
It's for our Business — Creates assets branded with your business name and logo.
It's for my Introducer — Lets you select an introducer from your network and optionally upload their logo.
If you are signed in as an introducer user, the Hub skips this choice and takes you straight to choosing the introducer.
If you chose "It's for my Introducer":
Select the introducer and branch from the dropdown list.
Click Next.
Optionally click Select File to upload the introducer's logo (SVG format, at least 550px wide, under 2MB). Once a logo is uploaded, the Skip this Step button changes to Continue. If you don't upload one, click Skip this Step to use your business logo instead.
On the Pick your marketing materials page, you will see:
Your unique link — Click Copy Link to copy it to your clipboard, or share it with the social media buttons.
Standard QR Code — Click Download Your QR Code to save it as a PNG image.
Marketing templates — Scroll down to browse the pre-made designs and click Download on any template you wish to use. The template is created as a PDF with your logo and unique link added automatically, so you do not need to create assets from scratch.
Click I'm done in the top navigation bar when finished.
Step-by-Step: Downloading Booklets
Open the HomeBuyer Hub and click Download Booklet.
Choose which booklet to download:
Consumer
Introducer
Mortgage Broker
The booklet opens in a new browser tab as a PDF.
Tips and Best Practices
Make sure your business logo is uploaded in Settings > Branding before generating assets. If no logo is found, you will see an error and be taken back to the HomeBuyer Hub start page.
Introducer logos must be in SVG format with a minimum width of 550 pixels and a maximum file size of 2MB.
Use the Change link on the download page to go back and select a different introducer without starting over.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why do I not see the HomeBuyer Hub option in the header?
A: The HomeBuyer Hub button is not shown to client users. If you are signed in as an adviser or introducer and still cannot see it, contact our support team.
Q: I get an error saying "Business logo not found" — what should I do?
A: Your business needs a logo uploaded in Settings > Branding before you can generate marketing assets. Ask your system administrator to upload a logo, then try again.
Q: What format does the introducer logo need to be in?
A: The logo must be an SVG file, at least 550 pixels wide, and no larger than 2MB.
Q: I get "Failed to generate and download the template" — what should I do?
A: The PDF could not be created. Try the download again, and if it still fails, contact our support team.
