Notifications Overview

Overview of in-app notifications including types, managing, and filtering notifications.

Notifications

Smartr365 keeps you informed about important events with in-app notifications. You'll receive alerts when tasks are assigned, clients upload documents, cases are created, and more.

Accessing Notifications

Click the bell icon in the top navigation bar to open your notification panel. A badge shows the number of unread notifications.

Notification Types

You'll receive notifications for the following events:

  • New Task Assigned – A task has been created or reassigned to you

  • New Case Assigned – A case has been assigned to you

  • Client Document Upload – A client has uploaded documents to their portal

  • Document Acknowledged – A client has acknowledged a document

  • Fact Find Submitted – A client has completed their fact find

  • ID Verification Complete – Online identity verification has been approved

  • Data Import Complete – A bulk data import has finished processing

  • Data Export Complete – A data export file is ready for download

Managing Notifications

  • View details – Click a notification to navigate directly to the relevant page (e.g., the case, task list, or document store)

  • Mark as read – Notifications are automatically marked as read when you click them

  • Mark all as read – Use the "Mark All Read" button at the top of the panel

  • Delete – Remove individual notifications using the delete button

  • Clear all – Remove all notifications at once using "Clear All"

Filtering Notifications

Use the tabs at the top of the notification panel to switch between:

  • All – Shows all notifications

  • Unread – Shows only unread notifications

Automatic Updates

Notifications refresh automatically while you are using Smartr365. New notifications appear at the top of the list, and the bell icon badge updates to reflect the current unread count.
