Can joint applicants see one another's data?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

By default, joint applicants cannot see each other's data. Each client can only view and edit their own information when completing the Fact Find.

How sharing works

For joint applications where both clients consent to share their information, an adviser can enable data sharing using the Shared / Not Shared toggle:

  1. Open the case and go to the Summary page.

  2. In the Applicants card at the top of the page, look for the toggle at the bottom of the card. It will display "NOT SHARED" by default.

  3. Click the toggle to switch it to "SHARED".

  4. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm to link the applicants.

Once shared, both clients will be able to see each other's Fact Find data. To turn sharing off again, simply click the toggle back to "NOT SHARED".

Note: The sharing toggle only appears when there are two applicants on the case. If there is only one applicant, the toggle will not be visible.
