How do I view deleted notes?

You can view deleted notes by downloading the full notes history for a case. This export includes a complete audit trail of all notes -- including deleted ones -- with the action taken, the user responsible, and timestamps.

Steps to view deleted notes

  1. Open the relevant case in Smartr365.

  2. Go to the Notes tab in the case.

  3. Look for the download icon next to the "View Notes" heading (top-right area of the notes section).

  4. Click the download icon. A CSV file will be saved to your computer.

What the export contains

The downloaded CSV file includes the following columns for every note event:

  • Note Id -- the unique identifier for the note.

  • User -- who performed the action.

  • Action -- what happened (e.g. Created, Edited, Deleted).

  • Date -- when the action occurred.

  • Content -- the text of the note at that point in time.

  • Included In Report -- whether the note was flagged for inclusion in the introducer report.

This gives you a full audit trail, so you can see the original content of any deleted note and who deleted it.
