How to submit to Halifax through SmartrConnect

You can now submit Halifax DIP applications without the need to visit the Halifax portal. We now offer 100% of the Halifax DIP criteria through SmartrConnect.

Once you have completed the FactFind within Smartr365 and you are ready to pass this over to the Halifax portal, visit the SmartrConnect page from within your Mortgage Case.

You can achieve this in a few simple steps:

  1. Select ‘Halifax’ from the ‘Lender’ field and select the 'Mortgage Application Type' as DIP Direct’.

  2. Complete any of the additional questions that appear on the page.

  3. When you are ready to submit, click the ‘Submit Application’ button at the bottom of your page.

  4. Smartr365 will automatically check that all fields required from Halifax within your FactFind have been completed. If any are missing, these will pop-up on the sidebar for you to complete before the submission can be completed.

  5. Once the submission is completed, click on Results History. You can then click on Get DIP certificate and the document will stored in the Document Store.
