Following your feedback, we have improved some key areas of the platform this week (Login Experience, Protection, and OpenWork Integrations) along with some minor (but useful) updates and bug fixes.
Login Improvements
The team have made some significant improvements to our login experience. The video below shows what this looks like although most of the improvements are 'behind the scenes'.
Faster Sign In: Some users were seeing a 'White Screen' for up to 20 seconds before the login page loaded. This is now completely eliminated
Longer Sessions: We are now able to provide a session token for 14 days meaning that you will not need to login each day
Easier Client Sign Up: Clients will no longer sign up and then be directed to sign in; they will now be passed straight through to the client portal after sign up
Removal of Social Sign up: Many tickets were raised regarding Social Sign Ups (especially where clients could not remember which account they used). We have now removed this option to consolidate the sign up process
Handle single machines: If clients (especially joint applicants) were using the same device it could cause issues. We have now improved this experience so people can use the same device with no issues
We recommend changing any browser bookmarks to take full advantage of this improvement.
Edit your bookmark (by right clicking and 'edit' to remove everything after '/'
The final result should look like this:

Case Improvements
Solution Builder field pre-population
We have added Benefit Payment Frequency and Premium Type to the fields pre populated on a case when sourced through SolutionBuilder
Solution Builder Values populate Multi Benefit Premiums
When sourcing through SolutionBuilder, the amounts given for Single and Multi Benefit Premiums accurately auto populate the fields on the case
Updated Dependents order
One of the top requested improvements on UserVoice: We have updated the list of dependents to have 'Son' and 'Daughter' at the top of the list. This is a small, but impactful change to ensure you are as efficient as possible.
Added more Titles
Another high voted, small, but impactful changes: We have added more titles to the 'Title' field to ensure accuracy when adding client details
Added 'Remortgage Contact Date' and 'Current Monthly Mortgage Payment'
NOTE - PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS CHANGE HAS BEEN REVERTED SO NO UPDATES ARE VISIBLE
We added 2 fields to ensure we capture the current mortgage information:
'Remortgage Contact Date' and Current Monthly Mortgage Payment'
Document Store Improvements
Automated saving of PDF's
One of our top voted requests on UserVoice (thanks for your feedback!), we have automated the saving and storing of the Fact Find PDF based on status. When you move your case to the status' below, the Fact Find will be automatically converted to PDF and stored in the Document Store ('Other Documents' Folder)
Mortgage case moved to 'Pre Offer Processing'
โ
Protection case moved to 'Submitted to Underwriters'
โ
Home Insurance case moved to 'Processing'
General Improvements
Updated the Customer Support Section
We recently made some changes to our Support Channels; we have updated our Customer Support Tab so it is easier to navigate and directs you to the correct areas when clicking links.
Bug Fixes
Client seeing error on sign up
Resolved an issue where clients saw the below error when signing up. The sign up was successful, but the client saw the error and did not receive a confirmation email. This now works as expected (No error and confirmation email sent)
Protection case status change on cancelled policy
It was possible for a system admin to amend the status on a cancelled protection policy. We have corrected the behaviour to no changes to any role on a cancelled policy. Status' are now greyed out and not editable
Status updated on page
We have resolved a bug that prevented the Case Summary page status from matching the main status drop down until page refreshed. The field updates without refresh now.
Validations not showing on Status change
An issue where the validations modal was not appearing on when moving to a different status has now been resolved. The impact of the issue was that users believed status' had changed but then found the status had reverted. The resolution means a modal will appear showing what needs to be completed before the case can move status.
OpenWork Integration Improvements
Removed Unnecessary Benefit Premium Warning
Removed the below warning as we now send the correct information opposed to a default amount
Amended Life Insurance and Critical Illness fields sent to ConcertHub
We have removed the default values sent to ConcertHub for Life Insurance and Critical Illness cover so that the relevant fields are available for completion in ConcertHub
