How to search for clients by name, email, phone, or ID on the Clients page

Overview

You can search for clients directly from the Cases page. Use the search function to find a specific client by name, email, phone number, or reference without needing to open individual cases.

Getting Started

Where to find it: Click Cases in the left-hand navigation menu, then use the search bar at the top of the page.

Searching for a Client

  1. Navigate to the Cases page from the left-hand menu.

  2. In the search bar at the top, type your search term. You can search by name, email address, or phone number.

  3. Press Enter or click the search icon.

  4. Matching results will be displayed. Matching text is highlighted in the results.

Tips

  • You can also use the Global Search to find clients across all cases.

  • If you cannot find a client, check whether filters are applied that may be hiding results. Use the Clear Filters button to reset.

  • The cases you can see depend on your role and permissions. You may not see cases assigned to other advisers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I cannot see a client I know exists. Why?

A: The cases page only shows cases you have access to based on your role. Check with your administrator if you believe you should have access.

Q: Can I search by phone number?

A: Yes. Enter the phone number as stored in the system. Mobile numbers may include the country code prefix.
