How to Set Up and Use Uinsure for Home Insurance

Complete guide for setting up Uinsure (UinsureCX) and sourcing home insurance quotes and referrals in Smartr365.

Overview

Uinsure (UinsureCX) allows you to source home insurance quotes and submit referrals directly from a case in Smartr365. It supports both residential and buy-to-let properties.

Setting Up Uinsure

Uinsure is configured at the firm level by a System Admin β€” no individual adviser credentials are needed.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Settings > Onboarding > UinsureCx Setup

  2. Read and accept the Terms & Conditions (checkbox)

  3. Toggle Enabled by Default to on

  4. Save

Note: The "Enabled by Default" toggle is only available once the Terms & Conditions have been accepted.

Mandatory Fields

Before generating a Uinsure quote, the following case data must be completed:

How to Get a Quote

  1. Open the case and navigate to the Home Insurance section

  2. Select Uinsure as the insurance provider

  3. Click Get Quote

  4. Review the returned quote details including:

    • Buildings cover amount and excess

    • Contents cover amount and excess

    • Annual and monthly premium

    • Optional add-ons (home emergency, legal protection, accidental damage)

  5. Click Add to Case to link the quote

How to Submit a Referral

If you prefer Uinsure to contact the client directly (Refer & Earn):

  1. From the Home Insurance section, select the Referral option

  2. The referral details are pre-populated from the case

  3. Toggle the referral to Enabled

  4. Submit the referral

Troubleshooting

Issue

Solution

Uinsure option not visible

Check that UinsureCX is enabled in Settings > Onboarding > UinsureCx Setup

"Confirm this is available for your firm" message

A System Admin needs to accept the T&Cs and enable Uinsure

Quote returns no results

Verify all mandatory fields are completed, especially property details
