How to Submit to TSB via SmartrConnect

Step-by-step guide for submitting a DIP to TSB through SmartrConnect, including mandatory fields.

Overview

You can submit a Decision in Principle (DIP) to TSB directly from Smartr365 using SmartrConnect. TSB submissions go through the IRESS integration, which pre-populates your case data into the lender's system.

Before You Start

  • Feature flag: TSB must be enabled for your firm

  • Credentials: Your TSB adviser credentials must be saved in Settings > My Credentials

  • Case data: The case must have a mortgage product selected

How to Submit

  1. Open the case and navigate to SmartrConnect from the top toolbar

  2. Select TSB as the lender

  3. Choose DIP Pre-Pop as the application type

  4. For each applicant, confirm the income verifiability flags

  5. Accept the submission disclaimer

  6. Click Submit

After Submission

Smartr365 polls for results every 8 seconds. Possible outcomes:

  • Pending β€” Awaiting lender decision

  • Completed β€” Decision received

  • Validation Failed β€” Check error details and correct your case data

  • Login Failed β€” Update credentials in Settings > My Credentials
