Update the relevant case data
Navigate back to SmartrConnect → Halifax
Submit as a Re-DIP — Smartr365 will include the original lender reference
Self-Employment Cases
Halifax self-employment support requires a separate feature to be enabled. When active:
Self-employment income fields become available in the fact-find
Business details are mapped to the Halifax submission format
Additional validation rules apply for self-employed applicants
Common Validation Errors
"Only First Time Buyer, Home Mover mortgages are supported" — Your case type is not supported. Check buyer type and ensure the relevant feature is enabled
Repayment method error — Interest Only requires the Remortgage & Schemes feature
Missing income data — Halifax requires specific income fields that may differ from the standard fact-find
"Cannot lend into retirement" — The mortgage term extends beyond retirement age. Adjust the term or check if this restriction has been lifted for your firm
