Manage your dashboards

Create, rename and delete dashboards, arrange and resize charts, and share a dashboard with everyone at your firm.

A dashboard is a page of charts and tables you choose. Your dashboards are listed under Reporting in the main navigation, and on the Dashboards tab of Browse reports.

Your first dashboard

The first time you open Reporting, you get a small starter dashboard picked for your role: firm-wide figures (written business, pipeline, lead flow, commission) if you manage the firm, or your own work (leads, pipeline, written business, protection) if you're an adviser. Change it however you like.

Dashboards are personal. Only you see yours, unless a manager or system administrator publishes one for the whole firm (see below).

  • Rename — click the chart's title and type.

Click ⋮ on a chart for:

  • Edit chart — open it in the chart editor.

  • Duplicate — add a copy you can change.

  • Reset chart — for a chart that came from a ready-made report, undo your changes and return it to the original.

  • Download CSV and Download Excel — export the chart's data.

  • Delete — remove the chart from the dashboard.

An empty dashboard

If a dashboard has no charts, it suggests a few ready-made reports to start with. Click one to add it, or click Create your first chart or Browse reports.

Company dashboards

Managers and system administrators can share a dashboard with everyone at the firm.

To publish a dashboard: open it and click Publish to company. A copy appears for everyone as a company dashboard, marked Company dashboard · read only, and listed in the navigation with (Company) after its name. You keep your own copy and can carry on changing it.

To update a company dashboard: publishing again adds a second company dashboard rather than replacing the first. Open the old company dashboard, click Remove from company, then publish your updated copy.

To unpublish: open the company dashboard and click Remove from company.

Everyone at the firm can:

  • View company dashboards. They can't be edited, but each person can change the date range for their own view. That change isn't saved and doesn't affect anyone else.

  • Click Duplicate to my dashboards to take an editable copy of their own.

Company dashboards can't be chosen when adding a report from a report page. Add the report to one of your own dashboards, then publish that.
