Reporting shows your firm's business in ready-made reports and dashboards you build yourself: what you've written and completed, what's in the pipeline, commission and fees, protection, leads, compliance and more.
Open Reporting
Click Reporting in the main navigation. Reporting opens on Browse reports, the library of ready-made reports.
If you don't see Reporting, it hasn't been switched on for your firm yet. That's a setting on your account, not a fault. Ask a system administrator at your firm to request it, or contact Smartr365 support.
Two places to work
At the top of Browse reports you can switch between:
Reports — the library of ready-made reports, grouped by the question they answer.
Dashboards — your own pages of charts and tables, built from those reports or from scratch.
Your dashboards also appear under Reporting in the main navigation, together with a Browse reports link.
Run a ready-made report
On Browse reports, find a report by group or by typing in Search reports….
Click the report. It opens full screen and runs straight away.
Use the date picker at the top to change the period.
See Find and run a ready-made report for more.
Keep a report on a dashboard
On the report page, click the add button. It names your dashboard, for example Add to My dashboard, or opens a list if you have more than one. You stay on the report and see Added to … with a link to the dashboard.
To change the columns or filters first, click Customise first. See Add a report to a dashboard.
What you see depends on your role
Advisers see their own cases.
Managers and system administrators see the whole firm, and can publish dashboards for everyone at the firm.
A few reports can only be run for the whole firm. Advisers see those greyed out in the library, marked Firm level — needs a manager.
How up to date are the figures?
Reporting isn't live. It works from a copy of your firm's data that refreshes four times a day. Every report and dashboard shows how fresh its figures are, for example Data to 1 Oct, 14:30 · refreshes four times a day, next about 17:30. See How up to date is Reporting?.
