Why is there a number in red next to my cases on the Workflow?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

The red number displayed next to a case on the workflow indicates how many days have passed since the follow-up date. It acts as a visual alert to highlight overdue cases that need attention.

What the number means

  • A red 1 means the follow-up date was yesterday -- the case is 1 day overdue.

  • A red 7 means the follow-up date was 7 days ago, and so on.

  • The higher the number, the longer the case has been waiting past its scheduled follow-up.

How to resolve it

  1. Open the case by clicking on it in the workflow.

  2. Take the required action (contact client, update case status, etc.).

  3. Update the follow-up date to a new future date, or progress the case to the next status.

  4. Once the follow-up date is set to a future date or the case moves forward, the red indicator will disappear.

Staying on top of overdue cases

Regularly reviewing cases with red numbers helps ensure no client falls through the gaps. You can sort or filter your workflow view to prioritise the most overdue cases first.
