To verify identity with GBG, go to the cases page and enter the client's case. Once you are on the case summary page, click on "Verify Identity" in the top left corner.
On the Verify Identity screen, you will find information about the applicant, the result of the ID check, the date the ID was last checked, and any additional checks that have been carried out.
If you want to see the different types of ID checks available, click on "show". There are three different types of ID checks that you can choose from.
Hover over the info icon to get more details about each type of ID check.
Select the ID check that you would like to carry out and click on "submit".
After you click submit, you may receive one of three results:
Pass: If the ID check is successful, no further action is required. The identity document will automatically be stored in the document store under the Identity folder.
Collect Documents: If additional verification is needed, you will see a button labeled "Manual Verification". Click on this button to save additional information and then go to the document store to manually add the ID document.
Refer: If the ID check cannot be completed, you will need to refer to Sesame via email. This is the same process that you have done previously via the Key.
It is important to note that ID checks are valid for 90 days. After this period, the check will expire and a new ID check will need to be submitted for the client.
