  6. The result will be displayed with a decision band indicating the verification outcome

Understanding Results

GBG returns verification results with the following information:

  • Result Code — The overall verification decision

  • Category — Result classification

  • Guidance — Recommended next steps

  • Manual Verification — Whether manual review is required

  • Additional Checks — Any supplementary checks that were performed

PDF Reports

After a verification check completes, you can generate a PDF report:

  • The report contains the full verification details and decision

  • Reports are stored in the client's document store for audit purposes

Common Issues

  • Invalid credentials — Verify your GBG username and password in My Credentials. Contact GBG support if you need credentials reset

  • Verification failed — A failed result does not necessarily mean fraud — it may indicate data mismatch. Check client details are accurate and try again, or proceed with manual verification

  • Missing identity documents — At least one identity document must be provided for verification
