Release Note 03/02/2026

Updated today

AML Reports now available via Identity Verification

We have introduced AML reporting as part of our Identity Verification journey, powered by Yoti. Brokers can now access reports that include Politically Exposed Person and Sanctions checks, helping support compliance directly within Smartr365.

When an identity document such as a passport or driving licence is successfully returned through Yoti's Identity Verification, the AML report will also be generated and stored automatically in the client’s document store.

  • View AML outcomes linked to a client’s identity verification

  • See Politically Exposed Person screening results

  • See Sanctions search results

This feature is currently being rolled out gradually with a group of Beta testers as we continue to refine the experience.

Want early access?
If you would like to start using AML reports, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager to request access to the Beta.

Homebuyer - International phone numbers now supported in

We have improved the Homebuyer onboarding experience by enabling OTP (One Time Passcodes) to be sent to international phone numbers.

Homebuyer - Clearer Document Upload Statuses

We have improved the document upload experience to make it much clearer what is happening to files after they are uploaded in Homebuyer.

You will now see clear status updates as a document moves through each stage:

Uploading
The file is currently being transferred into the platform.

Uploaded
The file has been successfully received.

Processing
Smartr365 is organising the document in the background. This includes categorising it into the correct folder in the document store and renaming it where appropriate.

Processed
The document is fully handled and now stored in the document store against the client’s case, ready for use.

This update gives better visibility, reduces uncertainty, and helps you understand exactly when a document is ready and where it has been filed.
