How to Set Up Your Third-Party Credentials in Smartr365

Overview

The My Credentials page lets you save your login details for third-party services that integrate with Smartr365. Once saved, you can access these services directly from within the platform without logging in separately each time.

Getting Started

Where to find it: Go to Settings > My Credentials

Who can access it: Advisers, Managers, and Admin Assistants

Available Credential Types

Depending on your firm's configuration, you may see some or all of the following:

  • Sourcing Brain — For product sourcing through MortgageBrain

  • Halifax — Username and password for Halifax FMA

  • Barclays — Username for Barclays integration

  • Solution Builder — Username and password for Solution Builder

  • Uinsure — For protection product sourcing

  • GBG ID3 Global — For identity verification

  • Legal & General — For L&G commission claims

  • Openwork — For firms on the Openwork network (Advisers only)

  • Paymentshield — For Paymentshield referrals

  • NatWest — For NatWest FMA integration

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Navigate to Settings > My Credentials

  2. Find the service you want to configure

  3. Enter your username (and password if required)

  4. Click Save for that credential block

  5. A success message will confirm your credentials have been saved

Tips & Best Practices

  • Each adviser needs to enter their own personal credentials — these are not shared across the firm

  • If you change your password with a third-party service, remember to update it here too

  • Some credential types only appear if your firm has the relevant feature enabled — contact your System Administrator if you expect to see an option that is missing

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why can I not see certain credential options?

A: Credential options are controlled by feature flags enabled for your firm. If you need access to a specific integration, ask your System Administrator to contact Smartr365 support.
