How to Set Up Integrations in Smartr365

Guide to configuring third-party integrations such as Smart Currency Exchange.

Updated this week

Overview

The Integrations page allows System Administrators to configure third-party service integrations for your firm. The integrations available depend on which features have been enabled for your account.

Getting Started

Where to find it: Go to Business > Settings > Integrations

Who can access it: System Administrators only

Available Integrations

Smart Currency Exchange — Connect your Smart Currency Exchange account to enable currency exchange services for clients with non-GBP deposits.

Configuring Smart Currency Exchange

  1. Navigate to Business > Settings > Integrations.

  2. Click on the Smart Currency Exchange card.

  3. Enter your Smart Currency Exchange Username.

  4. Enter your Smart Currency Exchange API Key.

  5. Click Save.

If you have already configured credentials, the username field will be pre-filled. You will need to re-enter the API key when making changes. Both fields are required if either is provided.

Other Integration Settings

Some integrations are configured on separate pages within Settings rather than the Integrations page:

  • L&G Ignite — Settings > L&G Ignite

  • Twenty7Tec — Settings > Twenty7Tec

  • ULS (eConveyancer) — Settings > ULS

  • Lenders & Providers — Settings > Lenders & Providers

  • My Credentials (per-user) — Settings > My Credentials (for Primis, Openwork, NatWest, Paymentshield credentials)

Tips

  • Make sure you have your account details ready before configuring.

  • If you see an error when saving, check that both the username and API key are correct.

  • Contact Smart Currency Exchange directly if you need to reset your API key.
