Overview
The Smart Currency Exchange integration allows you to refer clients to Smart Currency Exchange for foreign currency services directly from Smartr365.
Credential Setup
Navigate to Settings > My Credentials > Smart Currency Exchange
Enter your credentials:

Username | Yes | Your Smart Currency Exchange account username |
API Key | Yes | API key from your Smart Currency Exchange account |
Click Save
The API key will be masked after saving for security.
How to Submit a Referral
Open the relevant case
Navigate to the Smart Currency Exchange section
The client and case details are pre-populated
Click Submit Referral
Broker Verification
The system can verify whether an adviser is eligible as a broker with Smart Currency Exchange using the adviser's email address.
Troubleshooting
Issue | Solution |
Smart Currency Exchange option not visible | Check the feature flag is enabled for your firm |
Credentials error | Verify your Username and API Key are correct and current |
Referral submission fails | Ensure the case has complete client and property details |
