How to Source Mortgage Products in Smartr365

Overview

Smartr365 integrates with multiple mortgage sourcing platforms so you can search, compare, and import mortgage products directly within the system. You can source products either standalone (Quick Sourcing) or from within a specific case.

Available Sourcing Providers

  • Legal & General Ignite β€” Free sourcing platform with criteria, affordability, and product search tools. No licences or subscriptions required.

  • Sourcing Brain β€” Whole-of-market mortgage sourcing including second charge products.

  • Twenty7Tec β€” CloudTwenty7 platform for searching, applying for, and sourcing mortgages.

Quick Sourcing vs Case Sourcing

  • Quick Sourcing: Start a sourcing session without linking it to a specific case. Navigate to Quick Sourcing from the main navigation menu.

  • Case Sourcing: Source from within a specific case. Your client and case data can be pre-populated. Navigate to Application Services > Sourcing within a case.

Getting Started

Where to find it: Click Quick Sourcing in the left-hand navigation menu for standalone sourcing, or go to Application Services > Sourcing within a case.

Who can access it: Users with the View Sourcing permission.

Before You Start

Each sourcing provider requires initial setup before it can be used:

  • Legal & General Ignite: Your system administrator needs to enter your FCA number in Settings > Legal & General Ignite.

  • Sourcing Brain: Enter your Sourcing Brain credentials in Settings > My Credentials.

  • Twenty7Tec: Your system administrator needs to enter your Twenty7Tec identification keys in Settings > Twenty7Tec OAuth.

Tips & Best Practices

  • When sourcing from within a case, your client details and case data are sent to the sourcing provider automatically.

  • After sourcing, you can import product details and documents directly back into the case.

  • Not all providers may be available for your firm β€” check with your system administrator.
