How can I set my client's marketing preferences?

Video: How to set your client's marketing preferences on their behalf.

In a few simple steps, you can set your client's marketing preferences for them:

  1. Go to the Fact Find section

  2. Click on Personal Details

  3. Scroll to the bottom to Marketing Preferences

  4. Share the list of marketing preference options with your client (Email, Mail, Text Message or Phone)

  5. Select the options your client would like to be applied by toggling 'On' the button to the right. More than one option can be selected and saved.

    Important notes:

      • Only enable the preference and click Save if you have explicit consent from your client to set their marketing preferences to what you've selected.

      • If your client chooses to receive marketing communications by mail, please ensure the correct residential address is captured in Address Details.

  6. Click Save (your selections will not be applied until you have clicked the Save button)

  7. After you have clicked Save, the client's marketing preferences have been set

  8. This preference has also been captured in the Activity Log at the bottom of the Fact Find.

Important note: The client will still receive service-related queries from Smartr365 regardless of these preferences. Their details will not be shared with third parties without their consent.
