To use SmartrConnect with NatWest, you need to ensure your personal details in Smartr365 match the details held in the NatWest Broker portal.
Step 1: Check your Smartr365 personal details
Go to Settings > Personal Details in Smartr365.
Confirm your first name, surname, and email address are correct and match your NatWest broker portal account.
If you have a middle name, enter it in the first name field after your first name (e.g. "John Michael").
Step 2: Set up your NatWest credentials
Go to Settings > My Credentials.
In the NatWest section, enter your NatWest username.
If the email address on your NatWest broker portal differs from your Smartr365 email, enter it in the NatWest Email field. Leave this field blank if you use the same email for both.
Click Save.
Step 3: Verify details in the NatWest Broker Portal
If you need to update your details on NatWest's side (username, name, or email), log in to the NatWest Broker Portal and go to Maintain personal details. Changes there may take a short time to sync.
Troubleshooting
If you receive a credentials error when submitting, double-check that your NatWest username and email are entered correctly in Settings > My Credentials.
Your NatWest email must be different from your Smartr365 username, or left blank to default to your Smartr365 email.
