How to Use Mortgage Sourcing in Smartr365

Overview

Smartr365 integrates with up to three mortgage sourcing providers to help you find the right mortgage products for your clients. You can source products either from Quick Sourcing (without a case) or from within an existing mortgage case.

Available Sourcing Providers

  • Sourcing Brain (formerly Mortgage Brain) β€” Online whole-of-market mortgage sourcing with second charge products

  • Legal & General Ignite (formerly SmartrFit) β€” Free sourcing platform with criteria, affordability, and product research tools

  • Twenty7Tec β€” CloudTwenty7 platform for searching, applying for, and obtaining mortgages

Getting Started

Quick Sourcing (without a case): Go to Quick Sourcing in the left-hand navigation menu. You will see sourcing cards for each enabled provider.

Case-Level Sourcing: Open a mortgage case, then navigate to the Sourcing tile within the case's Application Services section.

Who can access it: Users with the Sourcing permission (System Administrators, Admin Assistants, Managers, and Advisers). Some providers also require a Mortgage Adviser role.

Tips & Best Practices

  • If a sourcing card appears greyed out, your firm may not have configured the required credentials. Ask your system administrator to check Settings > My Credentials (for Sourcing Brain) or Settings > Third-Party Credentials (for Ignite and Twenty7Tec).

  • Using sourcing from within a case pre-populates client data into the sourcing provider, saving you time.

  • Each provider is independently enabled for your firm β€” you may see one, two, or all three options depending on your firm's configuration.
