How to Navigate Your Business Settings in Smartr365

Overview

Business Settings is your central hub for configuring your Smartr365 account. From here you can manage users and teams, set up your company branding, configure third-party integrations, and control many other aspects of how your business uses the platform.

Getting Started

Where to find it: Click on Settings in the main navigation menu on the left-hand side of your screen.

Who can access it: All users can access Settings to manage their own credentials and personal details. System Administrators have access to the full range of settings.

What You Can Do in Settings

For All Users (Advisers, Managers, Admin Assistants)

  • My Credentials — Store your login details for third-party services

  • Personal Details — Update your name, email, contact numbers, qualifications, and address

  • Solicitors — Manage your list of solicitor contacts

  • Data Import — Import case data from CSV files

  • Data Export — Export your case data

  • Case Transfers — View transfer history for cases between advisers

  • Doc Drop Box — Configure your document drop box

For System Administrators

In addition to the above, System Administrators can access:

  • User Management — Add, edit, and remove users; manage roles and teams

  • Branding — Customise your company logo, colours, and branding

  • Billing Details — View and manage your subscription billing

  • Integrations — Configure third-party integrations

  • Introducer Fees — Set proc fees and client fees for introducers

  • Suitability Report Templates — Create and edit suitability report templates

  • Acknowledgements — Upload compliance acknowledgement documents

  • Bulk Transfer — Transfer all cases from one adviser to another

  • Bulk Update — Make bulk changes to case data

  • Document Templates — Manage document templates

  • Feature Settings — Enable or disable optional features

Tips & Best Practices

  • Start by setting up your Branding (logo and colours) so your client portal looks professional from day one

  • Make sure all advisers have entered their third-party credentials in My Credentials to enable product sourcing

  • Use Teams in User Management to organise advisers by branch or specialism
