Work with tables

Sort, reorder and add columns, move through long tables, open a case from a row, and read blank cells and the "Filled in" line.

Sort and reorder

  • Sort — click a column heading. Click again to reverse the order. The arrow (▲ or ▼) shows the current sort. Sorting covers the whole table, not just the page you're on.

  • Reorder columns — drag a column heading to a new position.

On your own dashboards, both are saved with the chart. On a report page or a company dashboard they apply while you're looking but aren't saved.

Add a column

On a table on your dashboard, click + Add column at the top of the table, then pick a column or search with Search columns…. Columns that can't be combined with the table are greyed out, with the reason on hover.

To remove or rearrange several columns at once, use Edit chart on the chart's menu. See Build or edit a chart or table.

Long tables

Tables show 100 rows at a time. Use ‹ Prev and Next › to move between pages; the line underneath shows where you are, for example Showing 101–200 of 1,804.

If a table reaches the most rows a report can return, you'll see (row cap reached — refine filters to see more). Narrow the date range or add a filter.

Downloads always include every row the report returned, not just the page on screen. See Export reports to CSV and Excel.

Open a case

In a table with one row per case, such as Mortgage case detail or Remortgage opportunities, click a row to open that case in a new tab.

In a summary table, where each row is a group such as an adviser, click a row to see the cases behind it. See See the cases behind a figure.

Blank cells

An empty cell says why it's empty. Hover over it for more detail.

Shows

Means

Not recorded

The field is on the case but hasn't been filled in

None linked

Nothing is linked to the case for this column yet, such as a lender before sourcing

Not applicable

There's nothing to record for this case, such as a joint applicant on a sole application

Some columns use a more specific phrase, such as No lender yet. A value column with nothing in it shows a dash.

The "Filled in" line

Under a table with gaps, Filled in: shows how many rows have a value in each incomplete column, for example Remortgage date: 42% of rows (753 of 1,804). It's the quickest way to tell whether a column looks empty because the information hasn't been entered on the cases.
